The radio stations

Intergalactic FM | Disco Fetish

Intergalactic FM is a groundbreaking and boundary-pushing cult online radio station based in the Netherlands, with an “otherworldly” concept and futuristic space travel-themed branding.

There are several different streams on Intergalactic FM, and for disco lovers, there is a dedicated stream called Disco Fetish. It’s a radio station playing disco, funk, boogie and italo disco. So it’s one of the few places you can get your italo disco fix!

Listening to Intergalactic FM might feel somewhere between listening to a pirate radio station from outer space and a dystopian future.

Disco Factory FM

“Streaming the best soul, funk and disco classics” is the tagline for Disco Factory FM. It’s a non-commercial project, dedicated to keeping the disco fire burning, and sharing and remembering the great scene DJs like Larry Levan. So check it out! If you miss a show you can always catch up with past shows on their Mixcloud page.

If you’re a budding DJ you can also submit your own mixes to be played on the station!

Radio 10 Disco Classics

Radio 10 is a traditional Dutch radio station which also happens to broadcast online. They play a mix of music from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s across several different streams. One stream, called “Radio 10 Disco Classics”, plays nothing but disco and boogie music. So if you’re looking for a disco radio station, this is a great place to start.

Disco 935

Disco 935 is a radio station based in New York City. They play a ton of great disco, funk, soul, and dance music. You can listen to Disco 935 on TuneIn – although sadly, for copyright reasons, not if you’re in the UK.

247 Disco Heaven

This small radio station is based in the UK and plays a mix of disco, funk, soul, and boogie. There are live shows and DJ sets, plus some very catchy jingles!

Disco.miami network

This network of online disco radio stations is based in Miami, Florida, USA. They have a number of different stations, including a disco station, a funk station, and a soul station. The stations stream non-stop, 24/7!

We particularly love the stream The Disco Philharmonic, which specialises in that sweet orchestral disco sound.
